Chessboard would like to sincerely congratulate The Hon. Larry Anthony AO for being awarded Officer of the Order of Australia. Larry is a member of HLB Chessboard’s advisory board and has a extensive career spanning politics, business and community organisations.
Larry has a diverse career starting from Agriculture ,Finance and Banking , Rail Transport, through to being a member of the Australian Parliament. For 5 years Larry was a Minister in the Federal Government running large portfolios such as Social Security. Post politics he has become an experienced company director either as Chairman or non executive director of various public and private companies in the media, education, IT software , financial , and consulting sectors. Larry also maintains a strong commitment to youth though his role with the Duke of Edinburgh Awards both in Australia and abroad.
